The Brief

Set on the banks of the Moscow River, Carré Blanc is an intimate residential development surrounded by some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. The challenge was to transform its expansive reception areas, corridors and lift lobbies into a seamless sanctuary that feels at home within this prestigious setting, while remaining entirely light, airy and contemporary.

The Concept

Our design concept is rooted in a distinctly French ethos: elegant, graceful and profoundly inspired by nature. Classical columns and ornate architectural mouldings are balanced by more delicate references to the natural world, drawing on the flora, fauna and cultivated gardens that have long shaped European art and design.

The Highlight

A defining feature of the project is its combination of bespoke, high-quality finishes and botanical artworks. White and grey marble, mirrored glass and fine metal mesh create layers of reflection and texture, bouncing light across classical wall panels and mouldings. In the lift lobby, a ceiling installation of golden, floating autumn leaves becomes a standout feature, set against vintage lift partitions, warm fabric curtains and French-style chairs.

The Result

The final concept gives the Carré Blanc a distinct European character, bringing structured classical architecture together with whimsical organic accents and splashes of modern art. The result is an elegant urban retreat that feels established yet inviting, and where a distinctly delicate sense of refinement provides the backdrop for more artistic and unexpected design moments.

“We sculpted these spaces to marry French refinement with the poetic beauty of nature.”
